Production Manager at Kempston Recruitment

• Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in Cato Ridge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervising Factory Staff and daily activities.
• Mange multiple facets of the facility including logistics
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Order and control of all raw materials needed for production
• Ensure the correct orders/pickings leave the warehouse
• Checking of orders, stock received, inventory and deliveries for accuracy
• Attend the daily production planning meetings and plan production timeously
• Maintain records, reporting relevant information and prepare any necessary documentation 
• Perform daily inspections on all plant/equipment and repair all defects found
• Communicate and coordinate sales orders/pickings with factory staff.
• Responsible for ensuring factory, equipment and premises are always clean and neat.
• Perform monthly stock takes
• Assist/support the admin/sales staff when required.
• Manage local admin staff

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license
• Grade 12/matric certificate
• Qualified Millwright/Electrician
• Must have 5 - 10 years' experience as a Production Manager
