• We are seeking a Production Manager for a permanent vacancy based in Tshwane, Gauteng

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:  

• Degree in Production or Operations management                 
• 5+ years’ experience in automotive manufacturing
• 5+ Years’ experience in a management role related to automotive manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of automated production systems and robotics.
• Lean Manufacturing Principles; Computer Literacy focus on MS Excel
• IATF 16949 Std; Management principles
• Leadership principles; Total Quality Management
• Quality Core Tools; Supply Chain principles
• Measurement Analysis; Quality specifications and systems
• Lean Manufacturing principles              

Skills required

• Manufacturing process
• Report writing and presentation skills
• Planning and organising; Production planning process
• Quality specifications and systems; Discipline and grievance procedure
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Technical understanding of automation regarding presses and assembly cells
• Developing, Implementing and Controlling KPI’s; Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Communication and team engagement; High attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
