Production Operator at Henwil Chickens Corporate

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12.

In-depth knowledge of InTeqnion Systems will be an advantage

Knowledge of Sage & Excel

• Instrumentation knowledge will be advantageous
• Experience in a Production/Feedmill environment.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks and resources for optimal functionality.
• Ability to give attention to detail with the ability to manage self and work towards targets.
• Analytical problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to perform under pressure.
• Must be willing to work shifts (3 shift system)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure optimum processing strategy
• To maintain Product quality to strict standards                           
• To assist with occupational hygiene at the mill and housekeeping
• To ensure that production meets orders on a timeous basis
• To assist with the stock-taking process to ensure that there is sufficient feed to address the demand and required quantities
• To ensure that production is in alignment with orders received on a timely basis.                              
• To ensure that all feed mill activities are executed in accordance with health and safety, legal and environmental standards              
• To apply technical and mechanical assistance when needed
• General ad-hoc duties as assigned to by the Feed mill Manager
• To interact with clients in a friendly and courteous when necessary.
