Production Supervisor at TWK Agri

Responsibilities and Duties

• Daily production requirements
• Production inputs into PLC and documents
• Ongoing quality checks of daily production                              
• Ongoing checks of bag weights on a daily basis and record keeping thereof
• Receiving bulk raw materials, offloading of trucks into correct bays
• Stacking of raw materials to maximize bulk bay capacities                 
• Quality checks of all raw materials received and keeping record thereof
• Daily stock count of all floor stock
• Controlling and supervising of labor for production requirements
• Daily quality/quantity checks of all products manufactured
• General housekeeping of the facility               
• Labour's time keeping and daily clocking                               
• Assist with maintenance and breakdowns of equipment when needed
• Managing plant vehicles

Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12 
• Sound managerial skills
• 3-5 years in a production or similar environment
• Good communication skills
• Own transport
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of fertilizer blending and bagging
• Be able to work extended hours on short notice
• Disciplined, multi-skilled, accurate to detail, task driven, and performance orientated
• Knowledge of Bagtek and Ricelake PLC (advantageous)
• Work and maintain high standards on a continuous basis
