Production Team Leader - Exploration at Epiroc

Mission of the role:

• As a Production Team Lead, your mission is to drive operational excellence by leading a skilled team to deliver products and services that meet agreed output requirements with uncompromising quality.
• You will ensure resources are aligned to production plans, uphold strict adherence to manufacturing specifications and health & safety standards, and foster a culture of continuous learning and competence within your team.
• Through collaboration with the Production Manager and proactive problem-solving, you will play a pivotal role in meeting deadlines, optimizing performance, and sustaining the company’s reputation for precision and reliability in manufacturing.

Your mission:

• Produce product and deliver service to meet agreed output requirements.
• Maintain high level of quality of all manufactured products.
• Confirm and ensure availability of resources (inclusive of materials and manpower) required to match operating plans.
• Lead a production work team
• Ensure work-team adheres to established manufacturing specifications.
• Develop and train work-team members to ensure that they are competent to perform at expected level.
• Liaise with the Production Manager on matters regarding production and any other relevant issues
• Ensures work-team adheres to the company’s Health and Safety Standards

Your Profile:

• National Diploma in production/operations management or engineering or Grade 12 with 5 years’ experience in supervisory position.
• Extensive knowledge on the programming of HAAS, FANUC and Mazatrol CNC machining centres and CNC Lathes.
• Extensive knowledge on setting HAAS, FANUC and Mazatrol CNC machining centres and CNC Lathes.
• Exploration drilling consumable experience will be an added advantage.
• Leadership experience mandatory.
• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
• Exploration drilling consumable experience will be an added advantage.
