Professional Electrical Engineer (Production level): Engineering Services, Ref No. DOI 66/2025 R1 at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide expert electrical engineering services for the Directorate Programme/ Project Infrastructure Delivery: General within Chief Directorate: General Infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate Electrical Engineering Degree [B Eng/BSc (Eng)] or relevant qualification
• Three years post qualification engineering experience required
• Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer
• A valid Code B driving licence.

Remuneration    

• Grade A: R 879 342 - R 938 061 per annum
• Grade B: R 990 669 - R 1 067 235 per annum
• Grade C: R 1 127 100 - R 1 323 267 per annum (Salary will be determined based on post registration experience as per OSD prescript).
