Professional Nurse - Cardiac Scrub Nurse at Joint Medical Holdings

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures and protocols.
• Must be competent with the Hospitals Policies and Regulations.
• Ability to supervise staff in theatre.
• Must have experience in handling drugs and scheduling is a legal requirement.
• Equipment maintenance and motivations.
• Ability to teach staff in the unit.
• To ensure that Theatre is always running at the highest standards.
• Comply with SANC and stakeholder legislation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

• Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC.
• Good interpersonal skills with doctors, patients and colleagues are essential.
• Preferably have two or more years of experience as a Scrub Nurse in Theatre.
• Preferably be Theatre trained or qualified.
• Must be prepared to work additional hours.
• Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel.
