Professional Sales Representative (Cardiovascular/Diabetes)
We are looking for a dynamic PSR (Professional Sales Representative) to drive product sales and promotion within pharmacies and medical facilities in a designated area. Your role will be pivotal in implementing sales strategies, organizing promotional activities, and building strong client relationships to achieve company objectives and maximize market penetration.
Roles & Responsibilities
To report product complaints (adverse events & product technical complaints) and medical information queries for all DRL products as per internal processes.
You will be responsible for selling, detailing and promoting products to targeted pharmacies and dispensing doctors in a designated area.
You will be responsible for assisting, organizing and presenting commercial activities within Pharmacies as well as programmes and promotional events in the designated area and/or nationally.
You will be responsible for implementation of action plans in accordance with the marketing/sales strategy of the company.
You will be responsible for personally visiting and liaising with the relevant target clients crucial to the performance of the company as agreed with the respective KAM (Key Account Manager)/National Sales and KAM.
Your role extends to maintaining a data-base of all targeted clients and liaising with the KAM/National Sales to effectively leverage various business opportunities in the designated areas.
Qualifications
Educational qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Lifesciences, Marketing or sales
Minimum work experience: 5+ years

Thorough understanding of the SA (South Africa) Pharmaceutical Industry and knowledge of health care related events.
Ability to solidify and expand business relationships.
Ability to convey messages and motivate certain audiences.
