Professor/Associate Professor: Curriculum Studies (One post) at University of Limpopo

A suitably qualified, experienced, and proficient individual is invited to apply for the above-mentioned position. The potential incumbent will form part of the Department of Education Studies, within the School of Education in the Faculty of Humanities. Interested applicants must meet the following requirements.
Professor
Requirements:

• A PhD in Curriculum Studies.
• At least 10 years’ teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
• Have supervised completed Masters and Doctoral studies.
• Evidence of at least 10 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ability to initiate an independent research programme that is able to attract funding.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Innovation in teaching and learning.

Duties:
The incumbent will be expected to:

• Teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Supervise Masters and Doctoral students.
• Develop course materials.
• Develop curriculum and package modules in the discipline.
• Perform departmental related administration duties.
• Participate in discipline-related community engagement.
• Associate Professor

• At least eight (8) years’ teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
• Have supervised completed Masters and Doctoral studies.
• Evidence of at least five (5) publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ability to initiate an independent research programme that is able to attract funding .
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Innovation in teaching and learning.
