    Project Assistant - Portfolio Management (12 Month Contract )

    we're seeking an experienced Project Assistant - Portfolio Management (12 Month Contract ) Bryanston - JHB position focuses operations within the Portfolio Management Team

    The Team is in charge of but not limited to monitoring and managing the Fiduciary risk, Contractual risk, Reputational risks, Financial Risks.


    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Under the supervision of the Regional Portfolio Manager, the Project Assistant will be required to
    • Understand Financial principles, reporting and reconciliations.
    • Control and verifications of notices of amounts dues
    • Control and verifications of loan settlements positions
    • Monitor the Loans repayments schedules and follow up on unpaid loans
    • Control and verifications of documents related to disbursements
    • Control and verifications of guarantees reporting
    • Reading and verifications of received audits reports and follow up on outstanding reports
    • Monitoring of information undertakings and financial undertakings, as well as collection of related documents
    • Monitor and update regulatory records, regarding each facility financed by AFD.
    • Control and verifications of documentations related to KYC, including periodic due diligence
    • Administrative tasks related to Portfolio Management

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Relevant Finance/Accounting related qualification
    • 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
    • Must excellent have knowledge with Excel
    • Experience in financial reporting for companies
    • Strong numerical abilities and financial skills
    • Experience in quantitative analysis 
    • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
    • Speaking French would be an advantage.

    Package & Remuneration

    • R20 000 per Month
    • 12 Month Contract
    • Work in the office 3 times in a week, just to interact with the supervisor.
    • Working hours 08:00-17:00
