We are looking for a Project Coordinator to provide hands-on support in the planning, coordination and monitoring of projects within the Training and Development environment. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects remain on track, well documented and effectively delivered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with project planning, including defining deliverables, timelines and project activities.
Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information to support smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
Maintain accurate project documentation, records and progress reports.
Coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing meeting outcomes.
Support project teams with risk, issue and administrative management.
Facilitate clear communication between project managers, team members, clients and other stakeholders.
Assist with resource planning and monitoring of project budgets where required.
Ensure project documentation and required administrative processes remain accurate and up to date.
Provide general project coordination and administrative support to ensure successful project delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
Matric Certificate.
Diploma in Project Management or a related field at NQF Level 6, or an equivalent qualification.
3–5 years’ experience in Project Management, specifically within a Training and Development environment.
At least 2 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation or related administrative functions.
Proficiency in MS Project and/or other project management tools.
Knowledge of relevant sector regulatory compliance.
Understanding of SETA structures and requirements.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
