Job Description:
As a Project Document Controller Resettlement, some of your duties will include:
Provides administrative support to the project team for project documentation
Ensure that all project and departmental documentation are filed according to the Anglo-American Platinum document management procedures.
Expedite outstanding/incorrect documentation and manage the distribution of project documentation to the project teams, other departments contractors and project team.
Auditing of documents by ensuring correct document numbering system is applied and correct templates are used to avoid delays in approval.
Compiling a health checklist on all projects to determine what documents are outstanding.
Compile a document management plan for each project to ensure the correct document management procedure is followed from project commencement date till close-out.
Compile and maintain document registers for each project or department initiative
Demonstrates proficiency in advanced document management software systems such as EB Docs and Project Wise.
Plays the role of system administrator of the document management system.
Controlling project documentation and system by conducting the following tasks
This role is in the Corporate Affairs department at a Band 8 level reporting to the Project Controls Manager.
Qualifications:
Grade 12
Relevant qualification (advantageous)
Project management qualification advantageous
Your experience will include:
3-5 years’ experience document controls (Technical environment); project administration experience will be an added advantage
Proficient in electronic filing systems
Must have good organization skills and be able to meet deadlines and set goals
Must have excellent communications skill effectively (written and verbal) and effectively function under pressure
Good interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license
Medical fitness (specific to the job)
