In this position, you will join our financial business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of financial projects.
Apply your sound understanding of Project Financial Accounting.
Assisting the unit leader to manage the finances of the unit, registering projects, revenue recognition, following up on debtors, adjusting project budgets, and analysing the Income Statement.
Ensure all unbilled WIP is invoiced timeously.
Assist with compilation of information used for monthly reporting and annual budgets.
Processing of journals and invoices.
Ability to successfully handle project accounting for multiple projects.
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
Sound knowledge of accounting systems
Apply your very good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently (self-starter), as well as part of a group.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum requirements:
3+ years of Project Accounting experience
BCom Finance Degree preferred
Must have sound project accounting experience/knowledge preferably in a consulting/professional services environment
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience with VantagePoint or other project accounting software is preferred
