    Liquor Sales Manager - Polokwane

    Job Description

    • A vacancy exists for a Liquor Sales Manager within the Micro Merchant Division, in Limpopo (Polokwane).

    Requirements 

    • Drive new business acquisition while nurturing and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
    • Ensure the sales team remains aligned with business goals, strategic plans, and growth objectives.
    • Partner with various departments and business units to implement best practices and eliminate operational barriers that may impact team success.
    • Identify and drive efficiency improvements to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Coach and mentor direct reports, setting clear performance expectations and ensuring accountability for results.
    • Foster a high-performance culture by developing and supporting the team in achieving their goals.
    • Oversee planning, staffing, budgeting, and expense management, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
    • Sales and Leadership Training or relevant certifications (e.g., Sales Management, Leadership Development).
    • Experience in delivering growth results in line with business budgets, demonstrated hitting of targets in high pressure environment.
    • Experience in formal Performance Management and Progressive disciplines
    • Proven experience in sales leadership, team management, or business development.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
    • Industry-specific knowledge (if applicable, such as fintech, Banking & FMCG)
    • Endorsed code 8 driver's license.

    Sales Executive - George

    Job Description

    • A vacancy exists for a Sales Executive within the Kazang - Merchant Division, in our George Office
    • The Sales Executive is a results-oriented sales professional responsible for driving new business acquisition, growing existing customer relationships, and delivering on regional sales targets across multiple channels, including Direct Sales and Tavern Sales.
    • This role operates in both field and remote capacities, combining in-person client engagement with digital tools to optimize reach, efficiency, and service delivery.

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Solve Technical issues
    • Provide Customer service
    • Advise customer on Software management
    • Manage device requisitions, allocations, and stock take as per monthly cycle requirements
    • Ensure administrative time is allocated to fulfil all designated administrative tasks and roles
    • Comply with Regional admin office requirements as per monthly cycles
    • Adhere to the requirements of the business when placing devices
    • Planning of sales activities on a weekly basis
    • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing and sales management
    • Interaction and cooperation with the Sales Admin team and the ability to perform work within acceptable timelines
    • Work to key weekly reporting and management cycles with Field and Regional Sales teams

    Requirements

    • Matric 
    • 3 years’ experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development in FMCG or Payments company
    • Experience in the per-urban/rural ‘Informal’ economy would be advantageous
    • Skilled in sales and negotiation at an informal level as well as semi-corporate partners
    • Well, networked within ‘informal’ Business value chains particularly large wholesalers and FMCG suppliers (or the ability to rapidly grow network)

    Technical Competencies:

    • Computer literacy—Outlook, MS Office Suite
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
    • Industry-specific knowledge (if applicable, such as fintech, Banking & FMCG)
    • Endorsed code 8 driver's license

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • High-growth mindset and self-motivated
    • Strong communication skills
    • Works well with multiple teams/structures
