Project Manager at Hubble Studios

• We are looking for our next Hubblite to join our talented and innovative project management team. As a Mid-Level Digital Project Manager at Hubble Studios, your main role will be to ensure project objectives are met, by supporting the team in planning, implementing and monitoring the project deliverables. You will be the go-to person for everything related to that project and its timeline. You need to be highly organised and time management needs to be your jam!

Responsibilities 

• Champion the project management function at Hubble Studios to achieve better quality, efficiency  and oversight of projects across the business
• Coordinate the kick-off meeting where all main stakeholders are identified and provide input to the project scope, objectives and approach. During the kick-off meeting facilitate the interaction of other team members (e.g. Learning designers and Business Analysts) with the client. Obtain supporting information to complete the initiation documents.
• Provide end-to-end project management throughout the lifecycle of the project, manage ongoing monitoring, reporting and control activities on the project. Facilitate the decision making process with stakeholders and document accordingly. Produce and maintain the following documents: Project Exception Log (Issues, Change requests, Decision, Action logs), Project status reports, Meeting agendas and minutes, Risk log, Change request form, Traceability matrix.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects
• Deliver projects on time ensuring Hubble Studios quality standards are met
• Coordinate and conduct activities with the main stakeholders in order to obtain information and decisions required to draw up (and maintain) the project planning documents.
• Communicate with the team and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
• Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
• At the completion of a project, conduct the activities to gather information required to draw up the Close Out document, Post-implementation review, and Project closure report.
• Participate in internal forums to contribute to the methodology and standards. Conduct training with the team. Ensure that knowledge acquired in the project is shared within the larger PMO community
• Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects

Requirements 

• Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science, Information Science and Engineering
• At least 3 years working experience as a digital project manager
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus  or AGILE SCRUM/KANBAN or CAPM
