- As a Project Manager, you’ll be the connective tissue between key business stakeholders and the teams executing the work. Your role and responsibilities
Project Planning & Scoping
- Break down complex business problems and ideas into clear project scopes, deliverables, timelines, and success measures.
- Conduct structured analysis to inform project assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate scoping sessions with stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and expected outcomes.
- Build detailed project plans that balance strategic intent with operational practicality.
Execution & Delivery Management
- Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring they land on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Track progress against key milestones, proactively identifying slippage, bottlenecks, or risks.
- Drive disciplined follow-through on priorities and commitments, ensuring all actions are completed and communicated.
- Maintain a high-quality audit trail of decisions, updates, and changes to ensure clarity and accountability.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as the central coordination point between business leaders, product teams, technical teams, and other delivery units.
- Ensure all stakeholders receive timely, concise, and accurate updates on project status, risks, and next steps.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, helping teams stay aligned on the bigger picture while managing the detail.
- Navigate competing priorities and constraints with strong communication, diplomacy, and judgment.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify risks early using structured analysis and data-driven assessment.
- Develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues with recommended actions.
- Manage change control processes, ensuring all scope or timeline adjustments are understood, documented, and approved.
- Anticipate downstream impacts of decisions and keep teams aligned as variables shift.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement
- Establish project management standards, templates, and operational rhythms for a growing PM function.
- Create structured frameworks for planning, monitoring, reporting, and closing projects.
- Analyse delivery patterns to identify inefficiencies, process gaps, or improvement opportunities.
- Embed strong attention to detail and high-quality execution as part of Ozow’s delivery culture.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to unpack issues, root causes, or delivery challenges.
- Assess options using data, constraints, risk trade-offs, and strategic priorities.
- Recommend clear, practical solutions and ensure successful implementation.
- Use analytical insights to guide decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Alignment & Collaboration
- Work closely with development teams, Scrum Masters, and product managers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and testable outcomes.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release coordination where applicable.
- Help bridge the gap between operational goals and technical realities to ensure cohesive execution.
Strategic Insight & Forward Planning
- Connect project outcomes to broader business goals, ensuring alignment with Ozow’s strategic priorities.
- Monitor trends, risks, and emerging opportunities to inform proactive planning.
- Support leadership with structured insights and data-driven recommendations.

You are an ideal candidate if you have
- 4-6 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a Technology or FinTech environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- A qualification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile Scrum/Kanban) is advantageous
- Experience working closely with technical/development teams and Scrum Masters
