RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable Building & Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and deliver construction projects safely, on time and within budget.
Develop and monitor project programmes using MS Project.
Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
Manage project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Chair project and site meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional registration with SACPCMP (essential).
Minimum 10 years' Project Management experience within the construction industry.
Proven experience managing building and/or civil construction projects from inception to completion.
Proficient in Microsoft Project (MS Project).
Valid driver's licence (essential).
Strong leadership, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
