Project Manager: Strategy at Engen

Job Purpose:

To identify and negotiate acquisitions, joint ventures and new business opportunities to enable the achievement of our growth strategy. To analyse the financial viability of target companies and to build appropriate financial evaluation models to enable the achievement of our growth strategy.

What you’ll have done before:

Baseline:

• Chartered Accountant CA (SA)
• 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Environment
• 2 years Commercial and Finance experience
• Project Management
• Financial modelling

Preferred

• Mergers and Acquisition experience
• Investment management
• Negotiating skills

What you’ll be doing 

• Acquisition or new business opportunities identified; Valuation of new opportunities; Financial Modelling; Forecasted Cash flows; Enterprise Value; Projects are documented and represented with recommendations.
• Due Diligence - Operational and financial analysis; Financial Risk mitigation; Advise on financial /tax structuring; Sign-off on all Financial and Accounting related risk mitigations; Fair presentation; Accurate and complete accounting records for every project; Board papers submitted on time; No unidentified deal risks;
• Ensure HSEQ compliance is comprehended in evaluation
• Financial Management - Accurate and reliable evaluation methodologies (e.g. DCF's / EBIDTA multiples)
• Participate in Deal Negotiation - Successful commercial arrangement or sales agreement; Final signed agreement; Implementation of negotiated deal.
• Comprehensive integration and change management plan; Conduct Post Audits
• Participation or project lead on any strategic initiative that the company may so require
