National Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Public Management and Administration, with at least 4 years relevant experience in Project & Organizational Performance of which two years must be at supervisory level. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite.
Post graduate Diploma or Honours Degree in management in the study of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Programme in Project Management will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager: Performance Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, the incumbent will be responsible for: Monitor all project activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the project output Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system Develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project Recommend further improvement of the logical framework Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success
Provide inputs, information, and statistics for quarterly, annual, and other reports to Project Management Team Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops for greater understanding of LNW projects Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project
Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities Coordinate the development of the integrated 5-year Strategic plan in line with the National Treasury Framework for Strategic Plans
Support the development of Departmental Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Conduct information sessions with all Departments/Units in preparation for reporting requirements of the new financial year Work with Departments/Units, monitor implementation of the AOP to ensure delivery of annual outputs according to set targets Build capacity and coordinating M&E, including data quality auditing and the use of data for decision making Develop a data management system for management to enable effective tracking of key activities undertaken
Compile and analyse data from each of the milestones technical areas and present the recommendations for improvements in implementation on a quarterly basis Ensure compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures, code of ethics and confidentiality.
