    Property Accounts Administrator

    About the job

    • The purpose of the Property Accounts Administrator is to maintain a steady collection and reduce the age analysis of clients

    KEY RESPONSIBLIITIES

    Debtors

    • Printing and distribution of all rental invoices
    • Perform reconciliation of recoverable property expenses to invoicing before invoicing finalised (Pre-Billing)
    • Maintenance of Tenant Age Analysis per property.
    • Distribution of Age Analysis and other property performance reports to the Centre Manager and the Portfolio Manager.
    • Capturing of all receipts
    • Reconciliation of monthly bank charges and interest calculations
    • Processing/Importing of meter reading data files to tenant/owner statements
    • Maintenance of tenant/owner information on MDA
    • Processing of monthly debit orders
    • Attend to adjustment queries during trial balance review process
    • Support of Centre Manager during a client query with analysis as needed

    Creditors

    • Reconciliation of all creditors accounts
    • Payments of creditors and other weekly property expense
    • Processing of all property expenses (Incl Municipal Bills)
    • Processing of all payments on MDA
    • Submission of payments and remittance advises to creditors

    Cashbook

    • Bank Reconciliation
    • Month end closing of property on MDA

    General

    • Loading of new leases
    • Loading of new buildings with complete and accurate building data (Incl GLA)
    • Perform quarterly lease audits (Checking all lease details loaded to signed leases)
    • Capturing of approved property budgets
    • Maintain property records of incomes and expenses (filing)
    • Obtain in depth understanding of the client’s leases & ensure income billed and expenses posted are as per the terms of the lease

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Must have worked in the same or similar position and industry before
    • MDA Experience is essential
    • Hard working ethic combined with passion and someone who loves what they do.
    • Good written communication skills
    • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette
    • Good working knowledge of information technology, including M-Word, Excel, email and internet
    • Can work under pressure
    • Good people skills
