Pursuit Strategist Manager at Ernst & Young Global Limited (EY)

The opportunity

You will be providing pursuit management support to EY’s large accounts. Embed pursuit excellence in the business by building relationships across the region and sharing best practice from learning events and through the global and local business development (BD) and pursuits network as well as drive initiatives to support continuous innovation in pursuits to ensure EY process and deliverables stand out from our competitors.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Drive the strategic communications process on the firm’s largest and strategically significant pursuits
• Research, write and edit standard and customized proposal content
• Actively drive the pursuit as part of the proposal management process which includes the coordination of information from contributors and follow-up on action items to achieve a coordinated team effort
• Contribute and/or facilitate meetings with bid response team members
• Monitor the progress of all pursuit activities for adherence to deadlines and quality standards
• Build and leverage relationships within the Business Development community across the country/continent
• Manage multiple proposals/priorities simultaneously
• Review final pursuit collateral for quality, format and content for adherence to the firm’s brand standards
• Serve as a liaison between the proposal response team and other support functions
• Share leading practices with pursuit teams

Direct or indirect experience managing a team of people

To qualify for the role you must have

• 5+ years (PS) of Pursuit Management experience
• Experience working in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment
• Experience in professional services (e.g., accounting, management consulting, architectural, engineering) highly desirable

Ideally, you’ll also have

• The job involves responding to client needs and varying time zones, long hours may be required from time to time
• Need to be open to travel as this may also be required from time to time

What We Look For

An individual who will be able to assist Account Teams to provide a full-service pursuit management model for strategic, high-end opportunities. Serve as a facilitator/key contributor in pursuit strategy sessions, manages output and drives actions as well as assist in development of strategic messaging and lead conceptualization of all client-facing pursuit collateral.
