Job Summary
Diebold Nixdorf is looking to employ a Quality Assurance Analyst. The candidate will be working with a team of passionate technology professionals, developing with modern technologies, and solving tough problems.
The position expectation is that an analyst is expected to design testing plans (both manual and automation) and develop test scripts for multiple technical products/services (pre, during and post deployment) in both run and change contexts and align to chosen application testing frameworks & guidelines.
Testing may apply to all or a combination of the following front-end, back-end, integration, performance, scalability and regression testing of solutions. This entails full responsibility for ensuring products are protected through quantifiable test coverage & metrics.
Job Description
Ideal candidates is expected to have relevant technical skill, which includes:
3+ years job-related experience
Computer science degree
Proven experience with testing tools such as Xray & JIRA
Proven experience in writing Test Case and Test Scripts
Flexible working experience within various project methodologies
Exposure to various testing methods
Knowledge of ATM Testing background is advantage
Development/coding experience an advantage (used to fix simple system bugs/defects)
Skills and Experience
Create, execute (peer review) of test plans/test cases within an stipulated methodology
Review and analysing user-stories and use-cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
Write Functional requirements for test analyst to create test cases and execute.
Manage testing throughout the SDLC
Map functional requirements to test cases
Write manual tests for applications
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression).
Documentation and execution of acceptance, regression, functional testing of the system
Liaise with stakeholders to resolve test issues and application enhancements
Risk-based testing and prioritisation
Develop Software Test Specifications, test reports and validation protocols for unit, integration, and performance testing
Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, and other projects documentation to assure the quality of the products and tests to be developed
Ensure proper version control and configuration management
Design and create test scripts to address areas such as software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation
Defect Management
Reporting of test status/Progress and defect reporting
As a senior member of the team, the ability to provide mentorship and guidance is a must
