Quality Assurance Administrator - Isando at DSM-Firmenich

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for the sampling process & administrative maintenance of raw materials & Premixes in accordance with the Quality operational processes & procedures.
• Plans the update, maintenance & implementation of new & existing raw material worksheets.
• Data capturing & releasing of results ensuring compliance to specifications.
• Review and support Shelf life extension requests.
• Filing & archiving of QC QA records.
• Maintain retention samples & retention store, maintain Scale Calibration records & monitor scale verification.
• Performs QC checks in the Production area, monthly physical checks of expired stock.
• Perform Homogeneity sampling & data input.
• Releases Products on SAP.
• Performs monthly Verification Audits, written reports & Log into TrackWise, assists with all Quality related Audits.
• Assist with Mock Recall & Traceability.
• Assist with investigations of CCR’s and any other investigation required.
• Reports on Quality & relevant Deviations.
• Prepares information for AMR and participates in AMR.
• Monthly Temperature mapping & maintenance of equipment.
• Reports on Quality non-conformances applicable to the Site.
• Assists with Training on all Quality related procedures and systems.
• Adhere to all relevant standards (HACCP, GMP, Global MD & ISO 9001 & 22000 Standards).
• Ensure visitors & staff adhere to requirements.
• Attend to any other tasks/projects or special assignments as required by management.

You bring

• An understanding of general chemistry is required. 
• Be familiar with GMP and ISO 22000 & ISO 9001.
• National Diploma/ Degree in Biotechnology, Food Technology or BSc Science/Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Food/Feed, Pharmaceutical & / or Chemical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to plan and organise an effective workflow.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to operate within a successful cross-functional team.
• Ability to strictly adhere to internal SOPS and to strictly comply with internal quality standards.
• Ability to operate efficiently with minimum supervision.
