Quality Assurance Technician at Flash Group

Role Purpose

• The Flash Group is growing and looking to employ another QA technician to join our dynamic Tech team based in our awesome Cape Town office. Work as part of the technology team to ensure a high-quality software is delivered to our customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in a testing or similar role
• Previous experience working within a FinTech/Retail, Payments or Banking environment is preferred
• API testing experience
• Mobile testing experience (advantageous)
• Automation testing (advantageous)

Responsibilities:

• Test planning and design of test scenarios
• Test case preparation and maintenance
• Test case reviews
• Test case execution
• Logging and tracking of defects through to completion
• Test reporting throughout test environments
• Testing for production support
• Provide regular feedback to team member, developers and stakeholders
• Attend daily stand-ups and provide testing progress
• Ability to work some evenings for live deployments (2 - 3 nights per month)
