Quality Control Supervisor at Barron

Job Objectives:

Supervising the QC team

• Checking and monitoring the team to ensure correct QTY has been chosen to full fill the AQL requirement. Following required quality process during checking. Which includes correct measuring of items, identifying and major, minor, or critical problems on items.
• Allocating and monitoring the people to complete allocated tasks for the day.
• Able to identify if more information is needed to identify if the shipment has failed or passed.

Quality Excellence

• High drive on always ensuring quick and efficient Quality checking at any point of time.

Accuracy and Documentation

• Assess how accurately discrepancies and defects are documented during inspection. This ensures proper record-keeping and enables corrective action.
• Attaching required files to the AQL report if is any deviation found from the standard.
• Evaluate the speed at which discrepancies and defects are reported to relevant stakeholders. Timely reporting allows for prompt resolution of issues.

Monitoring the 2 Quality locations

• Monitoring all 2 locations (Quality, Quarantine,) daily and ensuring these items been allocated into the correct final location.

Health and Safety

• Responsible for ensuring that health and safety policies are adhered to

Housekeeping

• Apply basic housekeeping principles to ensure the workstation is tidy

Qualifications and Experience:

• NQF 4 Matric or Equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year Quality Control or Assurance Assistant / Quality Control Agent in FMCG or wholesale industry
