Quality Controller/Assurance 1 - Atlantis at PepsiCo

Job Description

• Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents and equipment
• Sampling & testing of raw materials, packaging & finished products
• Safe and hygienic application of lab procedures
• Conduct internal and external GMP and foreign matter inspections (Mill, Silo, Premises)
• Function as part of Food Safety Team
• Capturing, analysing and trending key quality and food safety data (written and electronic)
• Compiling COA's, assisting with customer complaints handling and RCA's of non-conformances.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Grade 12 NSC
• Certificate and/or Diploma in Food Technology, Quality (or any other related field)
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in the Food Production Industry
• Knowledge of the Food Safety Standards (FSSC, AIB)
• Computer Literate (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms PPT)
• 2 years minimum experience in a Food Manufacturing Industry
