Quality Controller/Assurance 1 - Atlantis

Job Description
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents and equipment
- Sampling & testing of raw materials, packaging & finished products
- Safe and hygienic application of lab procedures
- Conduct internal and external GMP and foreign matter inspections (Mill, Silo, Premises)
- Function as part of Food Safety Team
- Capturing, analysing and trending key quality and food safety data (written and electronic)
- Compiling COA's, assisting with customer complaints handling and RCA's of non-conformances.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Grade 12 NSC
- Certificate and/or Diploma in Food Technology, Quality (or any other related field)
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in the Food Production Industry
- Knowledge of the Food Safety Standards (FSSC, AIB)
- Computer Literate (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms PPT)
- 2 years minimum experience in a Food Manufacturing Industry
