• Responsibility: Ensures that products or services meet specific quality standards and operational objectives maintained.
• Often work within a broader operations team, coordinating activities related to quality control, process improvement, and compliance.

Required Skills Qualification:

• National Diploma in Food Technology / Analytical Chemistry / BSc Food Science or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience in a quality management and food safety equivalent
• Experience in ISO 22000 / HACCP
• FSSC 22000 V6 certified
• High attention to detail *Good interpersonal skills
• Strict with implementing standards
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Ability to sustain routine admin implementing standards
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of quality control methodologies, testing procedures, and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9000).
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems.

Communication Skills:

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in quality checks and documentation.
• Teamwork: Working effectively with others to achieve common goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures.
• Verify quality control (QC) records, test results and reports
• Seeing that verification checks on production lines, records and validation of processes are done
• Liaise with production to implement root cause analysis for each non-conformance detected
• Document and record control
• File daily records
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in quality checks and documentation
• Ensuring that non confirming product is restricted
• Data capturing of results & info for the various reports
• Coordination of internal audits & external audits
• Facilitate Food safety meetings
• Online quality checks and monitor defects
• Monitor Repacking process, record and draw up reports on defects and do trend analysis
• Improvement and maintenance of housekeeping, cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility
