Quality Systems Manager at Novartis

Manage and implement the Pharmaceutical Quality System within Novartis Country Quality (NCQ) South and Southern Africa, ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards. Ensure that all quality matters and all aspects of the operational business comply with GxP, legal and regulatory requirements and the Novartis Corporate Quality Manual and Policies. Prevent significant quality issues or regulatory non-compliance, which could negatively impact business continuity as well the company’s reputation. Ensure compliance monitoring is established and implemented for regulated areas, including but not limited to processes for Quality risk management, management review and KPI reporting. Act as deputy for the Country Quality Manager. Support the organisation in the movement towards a state of perpetual compliance.

Minimum Requirements

• B. Pharm or Dip. Pharmacy Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council)
• Englsih Minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry (quality assurance, quality control, registration or pro-duction) or a directly related field.
• Good knowledge and understanding of GMP and GDP, quality systems, quality practices and pharmaceutical technical knowledge.
• Documentation, process and third party management. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
• Customer and results focus important to man-age various tasks and conflicting priorities.
