Quality Systems Specialist at Kerry

About The Role

• Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Systems Specialist is responsible for managing the Quality Management Systems, adhering to local and international standards which include GMP, HACCP, AIB, BRC, Halaal, and ISO 17025.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all customer and third party audits, including leading / organizing annual/ monthly audits
• Analyse trends and report on a monthly basis on Quality & Food Safety KPIs
• Perform HACCP reviews, including CCPs validation & verification
• Advise on Quality / Food Safety compliance for new product upscale, new raw material introduction and second source up scale
• Oversee the site Pest Management Program
• Manage Traceability & Product Recall
• Support customer requests including questionnairs, technical data and so on
• Manage document control system
• Investigate customer complaints and provide follow up corrective / preventive action
• Maintain Non-Conformance database
• Organise annual HACCP management annual review
• Other projects or tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager


 

Qualifications And Skills

• Completed Bachelors or higher Degree in Food Science or related Science field
• At least 3 years’ experience in food / ingredients business
• Strong experience in Quality Management Systems, with previous experience successfully maintaining BRC, AIB, ISO 17025 accreditation
• Highly knowledgeable in food safety legislation and compliance
• High levels of comfort in managing internal and external audits and interfacing with customers and third parties
• Experience in Pest Management
• MS Office skills are essential; SAP experience is an advantage but not essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Team player, ability to work in cross functional teams
