Rio Tinto’s South African operation, Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) in KwaZulu-Natal, invites applications for our 2026 Bursary Programme. We are seeking enthusiastic students pursuing studies in the following Disciplines:

Fields of Study:

• Engineering: (Civil, Land surveying, Industrial)
• Sciences: (Computer Science, Data Science)
• Social Sciences (Community Development, Criminology, Psychology)
• Humanities (Journalism, Media and Communication)
• Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Nursing and Medicine)
• Management Sciences (Economics, Commerce, Finance)
• B.A (Law, Safety Management)

Eligibility Criteria:

• South African citizen
• Students currently completing Grade 12 in 2025
• Average year mark maintained at a minimum of 65%
• Qualifying for financial assistance
