Rhodes University is a public research university located in Makhanda in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. It is one of four universities in the province.

Readvertisement: Deputy Director: CSD
- Job Type Contract
- Qualification Bachelors , Masters
- Experience 3 years
- Location Eastern Cape
- Job Field Education / Teaching / Training , Project and Program Management
The Requirements
- At least an Honours Degree relevant to Education, Social or Community Development (Master’s will be an advantage), plus at least 3 years’ relevant field experience, where such experience includes:
- Early childhood development and/or community development work
- Management of staff and programmes with a strong track record of delivery
- Financial management and working with budgets
- Fundraising with a successful track record in conceptualising new proposals, maintaining productive relationships with funders and meeting funding requirements
- Supervisory experience of at least 3 years at a middle management level
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Experience in a non-profit organisation would be advantageous.
