Reagent Operator at AECI Limited

Roles and Responsibilities

• Reagents quality control
• Reagents flowrate measurements
• Offloading of reagents
• Sampling
• Reagents stock taking & Data capturing
• Operate and be in charge of reagent equipment
• Conduct Safety inspections and equipment inspections at the start of every shift and correct non-compliance to objectives and safety standards
• Execution of reagents maintenance
• Reporting deviations outside of reagents parameter to the Supervisors/Vendor Manager
• Housekeeping in the section to maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science or NQF 4 Chemical Operations
• Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering will be advantageous
• Previous work experience in a Flotation plant will be advantageous
• Must be computer literate
• Be willing to relocate as and when required by the business
• Living in the area where the mine is located
