Annual salary

• R364 377.60-R473 005.44 per annum, task level 11 of a Grade 3 Local Municipality (Task system) plus normal fringe benefits applicable to Local Government.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
• Diploma in Development studies/Administration (NQF Level 6).
• Computer Literacy.
• Valid driver's License.
• 2-3 years' relevant experience in Development Administration.  

Key Performance Areas:

• Deal with enquires for leasing of Council owned land.
• Monitor that lessees honor their contractual obligations.
• Inspect the property leased on a regular basis.
• Keep record of lease on a regular basis
• Compile necessary council resolution reports and handle objections to ensure compliance with Section 14 of MFMA and Municipality asset transfer regulations.
• Monitor Council's property is being used in accordance with the conditions of lease agreement.
• Facilitate the leasing of Council land accordance with the provisions of the MFMA.
• Receive and respond to applications and enquiries for land.
• Process applications for servitudes.
• Draft and compile contract of lease and purchase.
• Determine purchase price of properties in collaboration with the legal and Valuation (income) Section.
• Publish advertisement for development proposals.
• Cancel contract of sale/lease when required all land related applications processed.
