Reception Supervisor at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To supervise the daily operations within the reception department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Supervise and develop team members
• Supervise and support all Pre-admission and Admission processes as per Patient Administration System Manual and Organisational Policies
• Manage financial risks by ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 or equivalent / relevant experience in a hospital administration environment
• DESIRED EDUCATION: None 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Relevant experience in a hospital administration environment
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in a supervisory capacity

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Business to Business Processes
• Conflict management
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Medical Aid Schemes and the Private healthcare environment
• Patient administration policies; procedures and systems (e.g. AS400)
• HR policies; systems; procedures and relevant legislation (including recruitment and performance management)
