    Regional Marketing Manager: Sanlam Connect Gauteng South Region

    The Role

    • This is a regionally based specialist role reporting to the Regional Executive with a matrix line to the Head: Channel & Segment Marketing. The Regional Marketing Manager forms part of the regional MANCO.

    The Expectations Of The Role Is To
    Output/Core Tasks:

    • Co-create a regional marketing strategy/plan
    • Undertake market research of trends and opportunities/competitors
    • Plan, drive and monitor execution of the regional marketing strategy
    • Ensure effective marketing support functions to the region
    • Create, support and enable the Regional Key Accounts strategy
    • Influence and build close working relationships with PP’s
    • Promote the Sanlam brand with intermediaries.
    • Manage a marketing budget
    • People management

    What will make you successful in this role?
    Qualification And Experience

    • Financial Services experience, with sales and marketing background
    • Marketing or Business qualification
    • Preferable people management experience

    Knowledge And Skills
    To be successful you will need to demonstrate good experience in:

    • MS: Office (Excel, Word, PP, Outlook)
    • My Workspace
    • Broker Tools (i.e.: compliance tools, broker web,)
    • E2
    • SAP
    • SANFIN, SANPORT
    • Adviser-web
    • MIS/WIS (KAIS)/CUBUS
    • Digital Online surveys

    Business/Management

    • Financial Services Industry Knowledge
    • Financial Services Product Knowledge (Sanlam and competitors)
    • Legislative compliance processes and practices (including TCF/CoI)
    • Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
    • Sales and advice processes/financial planning knowledge
    • Prospecting processes
    • Leads management processes
    • Budgets and expense management
    • Knowledge of how sales tools/aids could add value with SFA
    • Knowledge of key accounts and all other markets and the functioning thereof
    • Market segmentation
    • Marketing and sales principles
    • Knowledge of specific value propositions for different markets
    • Formulating and execution of marketing strategy

    Turnaround Times
