Regional Operations Manager (QSR / Multi-Site Retail) at Kontak Recruitment

• Seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Regional Operations Manager to oversee multi-site operations within a high-volume, fast-paced QSR / retail environment.
• This role is responsible for managing multiple locations across several regions, driving operational excellence, leading large teams, and ensuring strong financial performance across the business.
• The successful candidate will oversee a large regional footprint, managing multiple operational managers and store teams, with full accountability for sales growth, cost control, people development, and customer experience.
• This opportunity is ideally suited to a high-calibre regional manager from a structured retail or QSR environment who is agile, performance-driven, and ready to operate at scale.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience managing multiple sites/regions within retail, QSR, or a high-volume operational environment
• Proven experience managing large teams and multiple direct reports
• Strong track record of driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and profitability
• Experience working within a structured, performance-driven corporate environment
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capability
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel across regions as required

Duties and Responsibilities:
Regional Operations Management

• Oversee operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in execution, standards, and performance.
• Drive operational efficiency across all sites, ensuring alignment with company standards and procedures.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators across the region.

Sales & Profitability

• Drive revenue growth and ensure achievement of sales targets across all locations.
• Monitor cost controls including labour, stock, and operational expenses.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to maximise profitability.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of operational managers and store leaders.
• Drive a high-performance culture with strong accountability across all levels.
• Ensure effective succession planning and talent development across the region.

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service and brand standards.
• Monitor customer experience metrics and implement improvements where required.
• Drive operational excellence across all customer touchpoints.

Operational Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Identify areas of risk and implement corrective actions to protect business performance.
• Maintain strong governance and operational discipline across all sites.

Strategic Growth & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for expansion, growth, and operational improvement.
• Analyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the region.
