- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Director to join the Sales Execution team at CCBSA. The role will report to the Sales Director.

Strategic Channel Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute regional commercial and channel strategies aligned to business growth objectives, market expansion, and sustainable profitability. Lead Annual Business Planning (ABP) and drive implementation of OBPPC (Occasion, Brand, Pack, Price, Channel, Execution) strategies across all channels to maximise market share and commercial performance.
Commercial & Financial Leadership
- Own regional commercial performance, profitability, and revenue growth across all channels. Drive trade investment optimisation, pricing effectiveness, and commercial decision-making to maximise sustainable growth and return on investment.
Route-to-Market & Execution Governance
- Provide strategic leadership and governance to ensure effective execution of Route-to-Market (RTM) standards, RED execution, availability, and Picture of Success compliance across all channels and customer groups.
Strategic Customer & Stakeholder Leadership
- Lead strategic customer relationships, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder partnerships to strengthen customer collaboration, improve service delivery, and unlock long-term growth opportunities. Influence enterprise-wide priorities through collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, and Key Accounts.
Market Insights & Competitive Advantage
- Leverage market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, optimise channel performance, and strengthen the company’s competitive position within the market.
Leadership & Organisational Capability Development
- Lead and develop Sales Channel Leads and commercial teams to build a high-performance sales organisation. Drive succession planning, leadership capability, employee engagement, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Governance, Risk & Business Continuity
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, SHEQ standards, pricing architecture, and operational controls to minimise business risk, safeguard company assets, and protect the organisation’s licence to trade.

Skills, Experience & Education
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, or related field (Essential)
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) advantageous
Experience
- 10–15 years FMCG commercial experience
- Minimum 5–7 years in senior sales, channel, or commercial leadership roles
- Proven experience leading multi-channel commercial operations
- Strong experience in strategic customer management, commercial negotiations, and revenue growth leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and business transformation initiatives
