    Regional Technical Manager

    • Develop and execute Service Delivery Strategy aligned with Regional Sales and AFMA Service Strategy in area / region of responsibility.
    • Identify, clarify and detailed scoping of business opportunities with Regional Sales team.
    • Work with AFMA Planning Team to plan and cost standard inspections, Installation and Commission and Repair jobs.
    • Assist LCS Sales in developing scope of work and business case.
    • Develop and ensure delivery of contract specific service programs.
    • Implement best practices for the administration of contracts, technical skills of employees, Health & Safety standards including audits.
    • Establish & deliver on a communication plan with customers in support of the Site Managers / Supervisors.
    • Manages improvement projects / tasks to optimise customer’s plant performance and improve service delivery, including delivery solutions to technical challenges on customer sites.
    • Works closely with the regional management, Global Services and Life Cycle Services teams to monitor contract performance vs. budget, billing accuracy, and financial results on all service activities.
    • Establish and maintain a good company image within territory by ensuring all regional personnel provide exceptional service, a professional business attitude and up-to-date product knowledge.
    • Site Managers and Regional Services Supervisors report directly to the Regional Operations / Contract Manager.

    INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES:

    • Aggregate and Mining Customers ranging from supervisor to CEO levels
    • FSE / LCS Regional Contract Managers
    • FSE / LCS AFMA Support team
    • FSE / LCS Site Management team
    • FSE / LCS Global Support team
    • AFMA Services Planning Manage

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 8 to 10 years of service experience in heavy industry, preferably with Metso mineral processing equipment,
    • Experience with Sales strategy development for in the services or product support environment,
    • Experience with planning, program and maintenance execution in the field,
    • Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment.

    EDUCATION:

    • Any recognized Engineering degree or diploma with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a product support or services roll in the mining industry.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • 50% on contracts sites and 50% in the office

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Strong interpersonal, leadership and administrative skills.
    • Willing to actively engage in problem solving.
    • Ability to effectively communicate defined oem maintenance guidelines and practicies to the customers.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint.
