Duties
The clinical service includes patient management (medical care and genetic counselling) for genetic and congenital disorders, and liaison with the genetics laboratories. Clinical management of patients and families with or at risk of birth defects and genetic disorders. Participation in teaching medical genetics at different levels (undergraduates and other health care personnel). Participation in outreach and support programmes as it relates to genetics services Competent quality of care including clinical administration and audit. Conduct medical genetic research.
