Relationship Manager: Credit (Level 1) at Senwes

Grow integrated business through the retention of current and recruitment of new clients.

• Analysis of client portfolio to identify business potential/opportunities (in collaboration with other business divisions within the Senwes Group).
• Determine current Net Operating Return on Sales (NORS)/ profitability.
• Identify gaps / business opportunity to grow profitability/ NORS in collaboration with colleagues from other business divisions within the Senwes Group.
• Engage with client to determine their strategic direction for their business and to determine whether it aligns with the Senwes business offering.
• Determine challenges/restrictions to unlock business opportunities for the Senwes Group with the client through facilitating credit transactions and or arrange and facilitate discussion between client and colleagues/representatives from other divisions with the Senwes Group.
• Client portfolio management.
• Obtain new client referrals/leads focusing on clients that are already doing other business with the Senwes Group.
• Evaluate the business opportunities.

 Portfolio Management & Credit Recovery and Optimal Return on Capital on the Credit Book.

• Complete credit application and apply for credit facilities as discussed with clients and follow up on status of the application.
• Evaluate applications and make recommendations in terms of interest rate and fees according to the guidelines, risk, and NORS of client to credit committee.
• Discuss outcome and or terms and conditions of application/credit approval with client.
• Facilitate/ Assist with the amendment of existing credit application and or establishment of security / adherence to terms and conditions of the credit approval (registration of securities, grain contracts etc.)
• Arrange for availability of credit limits.
• Monitor utilisation of credit facilities and follow up with relevant parties.
• Complete relevant reports to communicate progress against targets.
• Assist with client queries (including queries that relate to other business units in the Senwes Group), needs and referrals.
• Responsible for the effective implementation of all credit related strategies that are aligned to the broader Sewens Group Strategy and promotion of credit products (including new products).
• Ensure compliance in terms of all laws and regulations (POPIA, FICA, NCA etc).
• Consult with internal and external clients to determine potential risk.
• Determine options to collect or extend credit and initiate measures and follow up on progress.

Requirements

• Qualifications: At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in financing environment.
• Requirements (South Africa): Relevant BCom or Agricultural degree (FAIS qualification desirable).
