The Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by effectively engaging with customers, nurturing leads, assessing prospects, and overseeing the sales of products and services to meet sales targets and objectives.
This role is focused on identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities within the B2B customer segments. Your success in this role will entail utilizing research methodologies to conduct comprehensive market analysis, identify market gaps, and leveraging your sales expertise to strategically position our offerings against competitors.
Through a customer-centric approach, adept sales techniques, and a deep understanding of our business landscape, you will play a vital role in identifying, capitalizing on upsell opportunities, and retaining revenue for the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 5 years working in an external Sales role
Demonstrated ability to work with data and reporting methods and systems
Experience working remotely
Proven Sales track record
A relevant Tertiary qualification would be an added advantage
Valid driver’s license, own reliable vehicle and flexibility to travel nationally
Excellent interpersonal, communication, marketing and negotiations skills
Self-motivator

A customer-oriented attitude
Good working knowledge of MS Office

Sales Management
Identifying and cultivating potential customers for the business's products or services.
Contacting existing and potential customers to present our product and service offering.
Ensuring product knowledge to enable sales with existing and potential customers.
Communicating with potential customers to understand their requirements and needs.
Travelling within designated region to meet potential business partners and customers.
Conducting calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
Through training, educating customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
Monitoring the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
Attending meetings, sales events and training seminars and conferences to keep abreast of the latest developments.
Sales Administration
Maintaining an updated customer database.
Responsible for the recovery of bad debt from existing customers.
Addressing all business-related matters for customers.
Providing technical support and assistance to clients both personal and via designated business support channels.
Placing recorded orders in a timeous and efficient manner.
Processing cancellations in a timeous and efficient manner.
Keeping an updated record of communications and actions with all customers.
Responding to and providing feedback to customers and colleagues in a timeous and efficient manner.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintaining effective relationships with customers by active listening followed by creative problem solving, presenting efficiency throughout the sales experience and implementing a solution driven and creative problem-solving approach.
Attending client and business events as required, fulfilling the required duties of each event i.e., networking and interaction engagement ratings.
Marketing Private Property events, workshops, engagements as per the guidelines specific to each event.
Participating in social media campaigns to promote business events, updates and ventures.
Ensuring that customers are informed and always up to date with Private Property's services and value add opportunities via conversation, email, social media and other.
