    Remuneration and Benefits Manager

    Job Description:

    Human Destiny is currently headhunting for a highly intelligent and competent Remuneration and Benefits Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects regarding remunerations and benefits of the Company.

    Please Note: The incumbent must be extremely fluent in Afrikaans,willing to start ASAP and Own Car is essential.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Formulate and implement Remuneration Strategies
    • Provide consultation and compensation, benefits and incentive program administration for 350 direct employees, looking after a total of 8000 employees
    • Participate, recommend and provide professional advice on remuneration matters including policy development and reviews that enhance employee value proposition.
    • Design and implement remuneration and incentives schemes congruent with the Company’s strategic objectives and remuneration philosophy
    • Establish and implement an appropriate remuneration infrastructure
    • Conduct research into Remuneration and Human Resources Policies
    • Research and implement up to date and most active remuneration processes with special emphasis on information & technology
    • Apply knowledge of the business units needs to drive compensation-oriented interventions
    • Manage remuneration administration
    • Management of the payroll function (accountable for review and efficacy)
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
    • Demonstrate experience by being a trusted advisor and expert in remuneration trends and application thereof to better position the organization
    • Accomplishes human resources department and organization mission by completing adhoc duties as needed

     

    Desired Experience & Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
    • Postgraduate qualification in the related field would advantageous
    • 5 – 8 of related experience
    • Extensive experience in remuneration and benefits compliance related matters
    • Extensive experience in remuneration and benefits models and practices, especially South African Agricultural Sector
    • Have a general understanding and knowledge of other HR functions to form synergy
    • Have knowledge of the job evaluation system(including the Patterson Job grading system)
    • Experience in relevant HR systems, applications, tools, metrics data and business intelligence tactics

     

    Salary:

    • +/- R600-900k including benefits
