    Rental Manager

    • Exciting opportunity for a Rental Manager to join a forward-thinking real estate company based in Ballito.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Rentals Administration:

    • Checking & verifying documents provided for credit checks – Co-ordination with letting agents.
    • Coordinate lease administration including renewals, amendments, and new lease documentation alongside the agents - Checking lease documents have been completed correctly.
    • Capturing of leasing data & records – CRMS & RAMS – Maintain & updating.
    • Creating electronic copy file of all transactions & maintain the filing system.
    • Completion of Estate registration documents & compilation of documents for applications – New & Renewals.
    • Updating of online listing systems & other platforms -TPN, WeConnectU, RedRabbit.
    • FICA – Request, record, verify, maintain records & report – For Tenants & Landlords – Co-ordination with letting agents & Admin.
    • Managing maintenance requests with service providers, landlords & tenants
    • Consult with maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely resolution of maintenance-related issues & maintain accurate and up-to-date records in property management software.
    • Handling Admin & co-ordination for exit inspections with Agents, tenants & landlords.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants: handling queries, maintenance requests, and lease-related correspondence.
    • Financial Admin - Process and reconcile monthly rental statements, and arrears follow-ups. Strong financial knowledge required.
    • Support the rental team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Excellent knowledge of rental administration processes.
    • Strong understanding of trust account procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Advanced organisational and time management skills.
    • Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve disputes professionally.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Strong financial and reconciliation skills.
    • Accountability and ownership.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
