Generate, maintain and distribute forecasts for replenishment items including seasonal trends and promotional plans based on respective portfolio
Manage stock levels in line with model stock requirements through the implementation of accurate min/max levels, safety stock, relevant ADU horizons and related demand signals.
Ensure availability across all locations through effective use of just in time ordering, MOV’s and SIBT management.
Conduct root-cause analysis on stock-outs and overstocking, and drive corrective actions with supply chain and commercial team
Report on and review supplier lead times, fill rates, and order accuracy, and implement action plans to improve performance.
Manage planning parameters in ERP or planning systems, including supplier lead time updates, and replenishment frequencies based on performance.
Proactively manage constraints like DC capacity and delivery schedules.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance replenishment efficiency, planning accuracy, and supplier collaboration.
Benchmark replenishment KPIs against industry standards and internal targets (e.g., fill rate, inventory turnover, stock availability).
Qualifications and Experience:
BCom / BTech / NDip (Commercial, Engineering or similar degree)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, analytics, or planning in relevant industries.
High level of proficiency with MS Office packages with proven advanced proficiency in Excel
Experience in the retail industry is beneficial
Experience with ERP systems or planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Relex, Netstock) highly advantageous
Familiarity with inventory planning concepts such as ABC/XYZ classification, service level planning, and demand variability analysis.
Exposure to collaborative planning with suppliers is a plus.
