    Retail Analyst

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Strategic & market analysis including market research and competitor mapping; identifying price, selection, sourcing and brand opportunities.
    • Ability to translate above insights into operational plans with Division Manager.
    • Risk management of performance vs targets: Identify & quantify gaps & opportunities in order to meet & exceed targets.

    Returns Supervisor

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Operational Duties:

    • Ensure that daily production is met with the daily SLA – no carry over allowed.
    • Ensure that pre-picks are completed for bookings
    • Ensure that QC is completed daily
    • Request outstanding stock from Main DC for booked collections
    • Ensure 100% hand over success rate is achieved
    • Ensure that stock is shipped and handed over correctly
    • Ensure that failed handover are rectified and sent via DPD to merchant

    SHE, Risk, Quality & 5S Duties

    Qualifications:

    Compliance Auditor

    Your responsibilities will include:
    Franchise Management - Independent Contract (IC) Drivers -

    • Conduct in field Driver Shifting Inspection Audits in accordance with the compliance standard operating procedure (SOP) documents
    • Remove Drivers from shift if they are non-compliant and fail the inspection audits conducted
    • Report the results of the inspection audits to the Hub Owners, Hub Managers and Franchise Management Team, detailing areas of focus for attention and corrective behavior;
    • Report on repeat offenders and institute corrective actions and re-training

    Pick N Pay Takealot Pickup Point (TPP) -

    • Escalate issues experienced during day-to-day operations
    • Weekly support visits to support improved business operations - act as a consultant to the Pick N Pay Store management to drive business success
    • Driving the company policies, procedures and brand standards through regular auditing processes
    • Monitoring and measuring branch performance and productivity against Service Level Agreement’s (SLA’s) through system checks and reports
    • Presenting solutions to solve problems to help drive the momentum and success of the Pick N Pay Takealot Pickup Point customer service offering.

    General -

    • Generate reports on your findings in Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Equivalent)
    • Analyze and report on trends in your areas

    Minimum qualification and experience requirements:

    • 1-2 Years’ experience in a supervisory role within a Franchise business and/or hospitality industry
    • Previous operational auditing experience will be advantageous
    • Must be competent in Microsoft Office or Google Equivalent

    Procurement Officer

    Your responsibilities will include:

    •  Co-ordinate the packaging procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timeous and accurate delivery.
    • Monitor packaging inventory levels and compile quarterly/monthly forecasts to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
    • Audit that all purchased goods meet quality standards and specifications.
    •  Keep records of the monthly supplier meetings performance scorecards.

    Product Lead (Group Customer Experience)

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Define a compelling long-term product vision (3–5 years) and strategy for your product area, with a focus on transforming customer service across the Takealot Group (takealot.com, Mr D, Takealot Fulfilment Services). This includes developing customer self-service capabilities, enhancing customer engagement platforms (e.g., chatbots, Help centres, customer communications), and optimising our customer service support portals. Ensure alignment between business goals and customer needs while driving the end-to-end digital experience through innovation, differentiation, and the smart application of emerging technologies.
    • Own and maintain an actionable product roadmap that effectively prioritises features and strategic initiatives aimed at minimising customer inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service and support.
    • Lead the full product development lifecycle - from problem framing and opportunity sizing to solution design and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to run discovery, define requirements, drive delivery, support experimentation and user testing, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
    • Serve as the thought leader and champion of the digital customer experience. Represent your product vision to internal stakeholders and senior leadership, and ensure alignment across the Takealot Group, working toward a shared experience goal.
    • Drive alignment and collaboration across disciplines, including engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and other areas. Influence related product roadmaps to ensure coherence, scalability, and a seamless experience for our customers across all domains.
    • Leverage data and experimentation to continuously improve the product. Analyse performance, test hypotheses, monitor key metrics, and use customer insights to identify and deliver impactful optimisations.

    Qualifications and experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field with at least 7 years of software product management experience or exposure (through projects or responsibilities) 
    • If the degree/diploma qualification requirement isn’t met, at least 10 years of software product management experience or exposure (through projects or responsibilities)
    • Demonstrable experience working across functional teams and executive stakeholders
    • Demonstrable domain experience in e-commerce/online retail and customer service support software 
    • Experience owning technology products (i.e, not just operational experience)
    • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights

    CRM Campaign Executive

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Creating, scheduling and sending CRM campaigns that focus on Takealot’s Subscriptions Service. This includes (but is not limited to) all campaigns sent via email, in-app and push notifications. This includes conceptualising the design and copy briefs.
    • Executing lifecycle journeys and campaigns for Takealot’s subscription service, aimed at increasing customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value as well as preventing churn and increasing cross-group, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. This includes identifying relevant channels and key messaging.
    • Crafting CRM campaigns aimed at increasing personalisation. This includes mapping out existing customer journeys as well as planning and setting up new lifecycle/triggered campaigns.
    • Working closely with the CRM Manager to ensure campaigns are sent out on time, accurately reflect products on site and include relevant messaging.
    • Managing administrative tasks related to creating and managing the campaign briefing process, conducting checks to ensure accurate and suitable rendering of direct channels across different platforms, coordinating approvals, sending off campaigns.
    • Optimising processes to streamline the briefing, creation and sending of CRM lifecycle campaigns.
    • Working with cross group, design and brand teams to ensure content and design for the relevant CRM campaigns are relevant and on brand.
    • Monitoring and reporting on key CRM metrics related to CRM campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
    • Conducting A/B Tests to inform more effective CRM campaigns.
    • Applying segmentation techniques to build appropriate email, push and in-app notification audiences to reach campaign objectives.
    • Using liquid to build dynamic and personalised marketing campaigns.
    • Researching and keeping the team abreast of email and CRM competitor activities, trends and best practices.
    • Researching and keeping the team abreast of developments on the numerous platforms & programs we use to ensure that we are aligned with best practices.
    • Designing and sending out surveys to customers at various touchpoints to capture relevant information about customer preferences, satisfaction levels, and experiences.

    Qualifications:

    • A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing or Business
    • 3+ years of experience in CRM or Email Marketing role
    • Experience in e-commerce or digital marketing
    • Experience working with Braze or other CRM Marketing platforms is a must
    • Braze certification is advantageous
    • Experience in campaign reporting and analysis is a must
    • Experience using liquid or other template languages (advantageous)

    Central Planner

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Oversee the In-stock function including demand planning, ordering and capacity management in line with department strategy. 
    • Create sustainable In-stock systems and processes in partnership with central analytics, technical and product teams.
    • Planning management to support department procurement cycles including but not limited to; seasonality, promotion planning, reaction, import purchasing & continual replenishment.
    • Develop & own the top-down budgeting plan cycle and reviews in line with performance, margin, stock turn & business strategy objectives

    • Drive process improvement and operational excellence within our supplier base by reducing costs, defects, and lead times, while increasing innovation, automation, and economies of scale.
    • Drive complex business analysis that identifies opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability, focusing on continual contribution margin improvements. 
    • Support the operations team in delivering a world-class customer experience “monitor and scrutinise” department returns, defects and write offs, supporting the customer service team on product queries and resolving any customer complaints 
    • Deliver accurate insights and reports on a timely basis on which department managers can base commercial decisions and deliver on revenue and margin plans.
    • Spec reports and apps based on merch team requirements and liaise with Merch Analytics and BI to get reports and apps implemented.
    • Manage clearance process.
    • Manage unboxed deals.
    • Manage and improve planning systems and processes including testing, roll-out and training. 
    • Streamline and document merch processes Develop and maintain merch calendar.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (Commerce, Finance, Mathematics or Economics degree preferable).
    • 3-5 years Commercial / Retail experience specifically in Planning.
    • Proven track record in planning, inventory management and forecasting.
    • Proven track record in spend management (OTB, Margin management, mark down controls).
    • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude, and high proficiency creating and managing advanced models.
    • Strong proficiency in using analytical tools (Microsoft Excel, SQL and statistical software)
    • Experience with process improvement techniques.

    Replenishment Planner

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Generate, maintain and distribute forecasts for replenishment items including seasonal trends and promotional plans based on respective portfolio 
    • Manage stock levels in line with model stock requirements through the implementation of accurate min/max levels, safety stock, relevant ADU horizons and related demand signals.
    • Ensure availability across all locations through effective use of just in time ordering, MOV’s and SIBT management. 
    • Conduct root-cause analysis on stock-outs and overstocking, and drive corrective actions with supply chain and commercial team 
    • Report on and review supplier lead times, fill rates, and order accuracy, and implement action plans to improve performance. 
    • Manage planning parameters in ERP or planning systems, including supplier lead time updates, and replenishment frequencies based on performance. 
    • Proactively manage constraints like DC capacity and delivery schedules. 
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance replenishment efficiency, planning accuracy, and supplier collaboration.
    • Benchmark replenishment KPIs against industry standards and internal targets (e.g., fill rate, inventory turnover, stock availability). 

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • BCom / BTech / NDip (Commercial, Engineering or similar degree)
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, analytics, or planning in relevant industries.
    • High level of proficiency with MS Office packages with proven advanced proficiency in Excel
    • Experience in the retail industry is beneficial
    • Experience with ERP systems or planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Relex, Netstock) highly advantageous
    • Familiarity with inventory planning concepts such as ABC/XYZ classification, service level planning, and demand variability analysis.
    • Exposure to collaborative planning with suppliers is a plus.
