Strategic & market analysis including market research and competitor mapping; identifying price, selection, sourcing and brand opportunities.
Ability to translate above insights into operational plans with Division Manager.
Risk management of performance vs targets: Identify & quantify gaps & opportunities in order to meet & exceed targets.
Build seasonal plans /strategies based on historic trends & division strategies.
Overseeing demand planning & stock optimisation including budget management.
Forward planning of promotional activities & margin management.
Create divisional performance monitoring reports including KPI templates & dashboards. Support key supplier meetings with data-driven insights.
Own the reporting architecture and manage data integrity.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, BTech or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or Data Science or related.
5+ years’ experience in an analytical, finance or management consulting experience.
High proficiency in advanced Excel.
Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar to manipulate and analyse large datasets
Experience with ETL tools (Python, Knime, R, or similar)
Experience using statistical methods such as regression, forecasting and modelling
