The design and implementation of strategies to effectively disseminate research findings to local, regional, and international stakeholders.
Developing and supporting high-quality publications that enhance the visibility of SAMRC within national, regional, and global discussions.
Engage in dissemination activities by creating user-friendly summaries and communication materials that synthesize research for diverse audiences.
Supporting training and capacity strengthening of staff and students across the SAMRC, including reviewers in South Africa and the continent more broadly.
With supporting research programmes and internal unit activities, the job holder may be required to deliver presentations and represent the SAMRC at selected meetings, conferences, workshops, or seminars.
Core Requirements:
PhD in health sciences, epidemiology, or related discipline
3-5 years working experience in a research environment
Presenting at postgraduate level / Contribution to student supervision
Working knowledge of Publication database searching such as Pubmed
Presenting at workshops/meetings
Contributing author of conference presentation output
Quantitative research methods / Epidemiology concepts
