Our client, a well-established hotel in the picturesque Limpopo region, is seeking a dedicated Reservationist to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring seamless booking processes and delivering exceptional customer service that aligns with the hotel's standards of excellence.

Area: Polokwane

Salary: Market related

Duties:

• Handle room reservation enquiries via telephone, email, and online platforms
• Input and manage reservations using PMS systems like Opera
• Maintain knowledge of room types, rates, promotions, and packages
• Record guest details and preferences accurately
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments
• Upsell room categories and add-on services
• Respond to guest queries and requests courteously and efficiently
• Follow hotel policies and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years’ experience with Opera
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in hotel reservations or front office operations
• Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Protel, or similar)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and sales orientation

Nice to Have:

• Experience working within the Hospitality or Hotel industry
• Knowledge of local market and tourism trends
