    Junior Project Manager/Engineer

    Qualification / Experience:

    • 85.00% matric average
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
    • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or business support role (defence or technical industry experience advantageous but not required)
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • The Junior Project Manager/Engineer provides essential administrative and operational support to the Business Development function, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of proposals, compliance, logistics, and event activities. This is a structured, process-driven role suited to a detail-oriented individual looking to grow within a technical Business Development environment.
    • Assist in the preparation, formatting, and compilation of proposals, tenders, quotations, and capability statements under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager/Engineer;
    • Maintain and update compliance documentation files, ensuring all certifications, registrations, and regulatory documents are current and correctly filed;
    • Coordinate logistics for trade shows and events, including booking, material preparation, shipping, accommodation, and travel arrangements;
    • Support the on-site execution of exhibitions and client events, including stand-up, and coordination of materials;
    • Prepare and format pricing and quotation documentation as directed by senior team members;
    • Manage correspondence, meeting scheduling, and general administrative tasks for the BD team;
    • Maintain document version control and filing systems for all BD support materials;
    • Handle procurement of materials, branded items, and supplies required for BD activities.

    Tutor (Matriculant or Student)

    • Salary: R180 per hour. This will include petrol.

    Requirements:

    Matriculated with good marks in the following subjects= Mathematics and, or Science (beneficial);

    • Students (1st to 3rd year) and Matriculants will be considered;
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English;
    • Own reliable vehicle;
    • Great people skills;
    • Well presented;
    • Available from 13h00 to 19h00 (Monday to Friday);
    • Will be required to work some Saturdays and during the mornings in June and November examinations;
    • Immediately available (beneficial)

    Job duties will include:

    • Driving from home to home, tutoring one hour per session;
    • Tutoring will include assistance in Math's and Science;
    • This will be from Grade 4 to Matric.
