Residential Portfolio Manager - Cape Town at Trafalgar Property and Financial Services

Job Description:

As a Residential Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Daily management of trust funds
• Ensuring timely payment of compliant contractors servicing the units
• Facilitating collection procedures and providing detailed reports to owners
• Archiving and proper filing of all documents within the Trafalgar database
• Continuous communication with tenants and owners regarding complex matters and financial reporting
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements for all units/mandates
• Accountability for internal audit scores and closure of identified gaps on the action log
• Managing maintenance inspector, maintenance administrator, letting agents, letting administrator and debt collectors to meet deadlines
• Managing of support team processes
• Upholding operational and mandated service standards
• Effective management of owner relationships
• Contribution to individual and team performance requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification graduate (preferably in commerce, property law, finance, or property studies)

Minimum Experience:

• At least two years' experience in Residential Portfolio Management
• Computer literate
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proven track record of meeting responsibilities and deadlines
• Continuous enhancement of knowledge of South African rental laws
